Clear rules and privacy protections for how we communicate with you via text message.
Breachway Investments, LLC ("Breachway," "we," "us," or "our") offers our clients and prospective clients the option to engage in communication via Short Message Service (SMS) text messaging. This policy governs how we collect, use, and protect your mobile information when you opt in to our SMS program.
1. Program Description
By opting into the Breachway Investments SMS program, you agree to receive text messages from our advisory team regarding your accounts, financial plans, and general relationship with our firm. These messages may include:
- Appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders.
- Time-sensitive account alerts or administrative notifications.
- Responses to inquiries you initiate via text message.
- Updates regarding your BreachwayGO! onboarding or account status.
We do not use SMS messaging for cold-call marketing or promotional spam.
2. Opting In and Consent
You may opt into our SMS program by checking the designated consent box on our online contact forms, client onboarding paperwork, or by explicitly providing written consent to your advisor. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Breachway Investments.
3. Opting Out (STOP)
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. To opt out, simply reply "STOP" to any text message you receive from us. Upon receiving your "STOP" message, we will send you a single confirmation text to verify that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you wish to rejoin the SMS program in the future, you may reply "START" or contact your advisor to be re-enrolled.
4. Customer Support (HELP)
If you are experiencing issues with our messaging program, you can reply with the keyword "HELP" for more assistance, or you can get help directly by calling our office at (860) 709-0909 or emailing joe@breachwayinvestments.com.
5. Message Frequency and Rates
Message frequency will vary depending on your interactions with our team and the needs of your account. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
6. Privacy and Data Sharing
As a fiduciary, your privacy is strictly protected. We will only use your mobile number to communicate with you regarding your advisory relationship with Breachway Investments. We respect your privacy and adhere to the following strict guidelines regarding your mobile data:
- No Third-Party Marketing: We will not share, sell, rent, or lease your mobile information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Strictly Protected Consent: Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information will remain strictly confidential and will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances, except as legally required by law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
